Cross Country 2025
Hello all,
As we recently wrapped up two exciting weeks of summer, with Cross Country Camp followed by Track Camp, we wanted to share some key dates and reminders for the upcoming middle school cross country season.
August 20th, is both the first day of school and the first official day of Cross Country practice. This will be the first organized practice of the season. As that date approaches, more information will be available on this website. In the meantime, we strongly encourage interested runners to stay active and healthy. Consistent running over the summer before the official season begins is essential for cross country success. A recommended mileage guide for the summer along with a tentative season schedule is posted below.
To achieve consistency we recommend your try to make and stick to a routine. Whether it's a morning run to start the day or an evening run around sunset. Routine is key. We hope you will make a plan when to run, find some friends to run with, stay active, and enjoy the summer. As you're planning your runs this summer please refer to the suggested summer schedule below. There is a saying in cross country, "summer miles bring fall smiles."
